A new Chapter in the historic heart of Milan. After a journey shaped by meaningful stops — from Puglia, Forte dei Marmi to a pop-up in Corso Garibaldi — Chapters opens its first permanent space in Milan at Via Tommaso Grossi 6, in the heart of Cordusio.
A choice that is anything but random — deeply symbolic and rooted in the city’s history.
A location with important roots
Rooted in tradition yet defined by a modern vision, the block reflects a continuous dialogue between history and the present. Architect Giovanni Muzio completed the final redevelopment of the area in 1960 , shaping a space that would later evolve into a destination dedicated to an exclusive and contemporary lifestyle, imbued with the spirit of an avant-garde city.
Before its transformation, the block between Via Tommaso Grossi and Piazza Cordusio was home to buildings that played a significant role in Milan’s commercial and financial history. The site was historically connected to the headquarters of Credito Italiano, one of Italy’s leading banking institutions at the time, and formed part of the broader financial district that defined Cordusio as the economic heart of the city.
Choosing this location means positioning the brand within a historical continuity defined by vision, transformation and urban centrality.
Milan as identity Cordusio is one of the city’s most iconic crossroads — linking the Duomo, Brera and the financial district. It is where Milan moves, works and gathers. Opening here means embedding the brand within a living, dynamic and layered context.
Chapters does not simply enter central Milan — it becomes part of its daily rhythm.
The Space
An open store facing the city The store unfolds across two levels, offering a generous and airy layout, with eight large windows facing the street, creating a visual continuity between interior and exterior. The windows are not merely display elements — they tell a story. They evolve with the seasons, shaping a recognizable aesthetic within the urban landscape. The concept goes beyond that of a traditional store; it is a space meant to be inhabited.
Chapters does not position itself as an isolated retail destination, but as an active participant in Milan’s ongoing narrative
The interior is conceived as a fluid environment. The ground floor welcomes visitors with clean volumes and essential lines: garments remain the protagonists, while architecture supports them with balance and restraint. Natural materials, textured surfaces, warm lighting and curated details create a sensory atmosphere.
The upper floor becomes more intimate — almost domestic — inviting slower exploration. It is also designed as a flexible environment capable of hosting private dinners, intimate gatherings and curated cocktail evenings .
Beyond these moments, the space will evolve into a platform for workshops, yoga sessions, talks and creative encounters — a setting where ideas can circulate as freely as people. Conceived as a dynamic extension of the concept store, the second floor encourages dialogue, learning and shared experiences, transforming retail into something participatory.
The concept goes beyond that of a conventional store; it is a place meant to be lived in — a space where commerce, culture and community naturally intersect.
The product: an urban wardrobe
Inside, the selection includes: structured coats, tactile knitwear, functional bags designed for city life, shoes made for walking through Milan, beauty and home décor objects with a strong sensory component. Each element contributes to building a coherent universe, balancing functionality and aesthetic research.
An Ongoing Chapter
Via Tommaso Grossi 6 marks both a milestone and a beginning. While Chapters is a young concept store, its curatorial vision has been clear from the start — defined by intention, coherence and a precise aesthetic language. After a series of carefully curated pop-ups, this opening represents not simply stability, but a conscious evolution. From the eight windows overlooking Cordusio, Milan becomes both backdrop and protagonist. The city’s layered history, architectural rigor and cultural dynamism resonate with the store’s balance of structure and softness, functionality and sensory research.
Youth, here, is not about scale — it is about clarity. Chapters steps into the urban fabric with confidence, positioning itself not just as a retail destination, but as a contemporary space of exchange within Milan’s ongoing narrative.
