Chapters was founded by Federica Montelli with the vision of creating a space where retail meets contemporary culture. Her approach stems from observing a new way of experiencing fashion — more conscious, more fluid, less constrained by traditional seasonal structures, and deeply connected to storytelling.

For Federica, Chapters has never been just a store. It is a dynamic environment where aesthetics and content coexist, where product and narrative evolve together. Each chapter reflects a mood, a moment, a transformation.

Chapters evolves through themes, each with its own identity and atmosphere. Vacanza was the first chapter: light, sun-drenched, evocative. A relaxed yet refined aesthetic defined by natural fabrics, soft silhouettes, and that effortless sense of freedom only summer can bring.

Then came Minimalista: a more structured and essential evolution. Clean lines, neutral palettes, and attention to detail shaped a chapter exploring the power of reduction, balance, and quiet confidence.

The newest chapter is Vitaminc — an explosion of visual and creative energy. Colour pop meets pastels in unexpected contrasts. Texture and layering become expressive tools: materials overlap, mix, and interact. Accessories are playful, sometimes deliberately unconventional.

There are no rigid rules. It is unapologetic, optimistic, spontaneous. It feels like summer — but urban, electric, and slightly ironic.

Today, Chapters has found its permanent home on Via Tommaso Grossi, in the heart of Milan’s Cordusio district. The store unfolds across two floors, designed to reflect the dual soul of the brand: retail and culture.

The ground floor hosts the curated selection of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle objects. Clean architectural lines meet playful styling details. Displays are thoughtful, spacious, and intentional — allowing each product to breathe and each narrative to unfold organically. The upper floor becomes more intimate — almost domestic.

Conceived as a flexible environment, it hosts private dinners, cocktail evenings, workshops, talks, creative sessions, and special community events. It is a slower, more reflective space.
